Morning God, F00K 0FF back to heaven, right??

I hope you in turn are ready for the visit of the marauding hoardes from Hartlepool which will make your thin but no doubt enthusiastic choir sound like St Winifreds Girlschool.

Then they'll shag all your wimmin (and a good few blokes), AND drink your city dry.

Then they'll errmmmm....errrmmm.........go home.

Correct me if I am wrong but I seem to remember a certain Scottish Photographer with a name like this once ( something to do with Billy Bremner) who is a bit partial to Leeds Utd.

Hello Frank and welcome to the board, now welcome to the board.

Stroll on. Who let the dog out? Or in as the case may be.

Has Hoots made an appearance yet? Said he was registering.

You'll be really glad of that recruitment drive on TEAB now BIG has joined the fray! Don't believe a word of what he says. :sweeeet:

Aye Snowy. It amuses me greatly how a million and one folk on the rivals network have popped over to TEAB to tell us we're not famous any more. Ironic I believe is the word i'm looking for.

I prefer to see us in a new spring of our footballing lives now. Ready for the rebirth of a new and fitter LUFC. All the dead wood and hangers on cleared out with a new adventure in front of us.

ADG - I was onny in Blackhall for 8 months or so.

Well I didn't really want to diss the place cuz it's your neck o the woods and that but I have to say i've never been unhappier in my life than when I was living there.

Targetted by local kids for being Yorkshire - made my life a misery and lost count of the times I had windows smashed and my car broken into. confised

Moved from there to the Midlands before coming back to gods own county a couple of years ago now.

And nowts gonna shift me now.

That's a very good question - we none of us know who's going or staying yet.

We could be playing our youth team yet (assuming Spurs or Chelsk don't snaffle 'em).

Ah well - bring it on - roll on August. Am genuinely looking forward to it.

ps - what's a Yakker?

Feels like a lifetime ago now, funny how passing the time with you lot has brought it all back to me.

saw your advert on TEAB - thought I'd drop by and say hello. Have to say you guys are a cut above much of what we have to cope with on rivals. Looking forward to our first season in Div1. And believe me, whatever you hear from those who hate us, none of us think we were too big to go down/too big for div1 and all of us know we could be here for a long time.

mot rolfl

Hi whitelight.whitheat there is a traditional welcome on this site but I'll leave it to another in this instance, I'm far too polite. Is your name from the Velvet Underground track of the same name - just wondering.

Hello Hawklord - I well remember seeing hawkwind at bradford st george's hall many many years ago (I hail from the second city not bradford).

Album 2 by the velvets - yes! Thought it struck a chord being a leeds fan. I await the make your way home scum type postings.

Music and LUFC are my passions, after mrs heat and the little heaters of course! Velvet's arguably most influential band of all time.

Thank you grand wazoo - do I qualify for all bunker privileges now that I have been through your initiation ceremony. I am a regular visitor to relatives in Stockton so could pop round for events and the like.

Well I see that the customary welcome has been bestowed upon you. I agree that the Velvet Underground are one of the most influential bands. I especially like their early stuff such as whitelight whitheat, Heroin & sister Ray. I saw VU a long time ago, but by then Lou Reed & Nico had left and they were dissapointing.

As has been said earlier our away end holds just over 900. I am sure that the local constabulary, anticipating trouble will move the kick off to something like a Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

Ah well you see we don't really approve of antipathy in these parts WW, you get what you give round here. There's a distinct lack of textspeak as well if you catch my drift, we can boast several brain cells each. Not many but more than one at any rate. So:

Hello good evening and F00K OFF!!

Right your in. Lads, get the rubber apron and goose grease!! :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:

Incidentally, my old band used to do a cover of 'Waiting For The Man,' in a rather nifty stylee, even if I do say so myself.

Now if I could only work out how to make this avatar thingy work for me all would be well.

Waiting for my man, rubber apron, joy division gloves. You can't beat diversity!

Aye - he certainly changed the way that the electrified guitar was played forever, but the programme seemed to be saying that "Like A Rolling Stone" and "All Along The Watchtower" weren't iconic songs until Hendrix covered them - which is stretching it a bit.

Great clips though + I tend to ignore all the punditry on these sort of things anyway - the guy with the plastic trilby was just making up his own language as he went along .... complete pish.
