Couldn't your club have found a bigger chair for this fella to sit on, it looks like he is in one of those photo booths for passport pictures and he hasn't turned the seat round enough

That's what worries me dawlish to be honest.

I love my away days I do but those 900 seats are likely to be snaffled by away season ticket holders. And rightly so - they are the backbone of our club that can and do go to all the away games. The rest of us won't gerra look in.

We have the cheese wedge for away fans which goes up for grabs first which holds oooh, maybe 2k. Then we have the south stand which on rare occasions last season we gave t away fans which holds another 3k.

Rough gestimates there though. Will look into properly for you later if you like.

pooliekev or one of your posters said we could have the home end when we visit - I think he said 4,000. I think that would be appropriate in our first season. You will certainly get 4,000 at ER if you have the support. Again I think one of your posters said you regulraly take 5,000 away!

yeh that would be good, cheers. you have to remember that we have had less than 6000 away fans at pools all season so the away end was rarely full, and even last year when we were in league 1 not many filled it.

Not quite as many as that but for a small town and a team in L2 we did take some good away support.

3,000 to Rochdale and outnumbered the home fans
3,750 to Darlo and a fair few in the home end
1,300 to Stockport
1,200 to Barnet

I can see us taking 4,000 to ER for our first visit and I for one can't wait, what about your 2 games with Notts Forest they could end up with huge crowds at both games.

I bet both do Mr Fensy, I must admit there will be more people watching them 2 games then say Port Vale V Chelts.

Maybe Leeds V Pools could make it if Sky's main man has his own way.

Come in Sir Jeff of Stelling if you're watching. :sweeeet:

We have a fanatical away support. Make me proud to be Leeds and join them when I get the chance.

The FA will decide that Leeds should play Hartlepool early on, behind closed doors. I can see it coming a mile off.

If we do play Leeds on tv (and it's at home), some of our fans might turn up this time rather than watch it on tv...hopefully. I'd be embarrassed if Leeds filled the away end and we did a Rochdale. :uhoh:

I'm sure the good citizens of Bournemouth agree and look forward to welcoming you back

Stroll on. How many years ago was that?

Bournemouth are already reporting local army and navy stores selling out of tin hats and sand bags in advance of our tour date there.

Never mind the fact that 99.99999% of Leeds fans are completely normal human beings who travel all over the country following their team, spend a fortune in doing so and the last thing they want is trouble.

But hey, don't let true facts get in the way of an old memory eh.

Some Leeds fans live in a world of their very own and fair play to em!

I work in Leeds and one bloke is adamant that Leeds United won the double in the 1970's and when he was proved wrong his reply was 'Fooking 3rd division teams are shite and you know nowt.....'

Gawd bless him!

Not me Squire, I dunno where you've got that from. It'd be a new first. Also the claim that we regularly take 5000 away is well out and didn't originate in the PK household. We took 10,000 to Sunderland for a Cup game two seasons ago, but there's service buses and trains to Sunderland and we automatically got 25% of the capacity for the Cup.

Chances are, with Elland Road being almost the nearest away game for us and obviously being who and what it is, we WILL take 4000. It's the bi pre-season buzz as you might expect, you're going to get this right around the Country.
