Not the argument I envisioned having when I'm sat at work!
There's bigger things to be thinking about at the minute, most importantly the future of pools. We've all been going since we were knee high to a grasshopper and want to do something.

Fetish_Bob wrote:The problem is that even for a "small band of fans" and I'm putting both boards together in that category, is there are to many suggestions of what to do. We've had downright stupid ideas to decent(OK) ideas to very good ideas. But the fact is that everyone who reads the boards will have their own idea on which category each idea comes into, and there lies the problem.
I've already stated why I wouldn't take part in anything that could be classed as "illegal", my choice but there it is.
Now I can see the pro's and con's of the "walkout" to behind the respective stands. But how many will take part ? The problem is you would need a large part of the 3000 Pools fans that will be there to do it for it to be noticed. And as I've said at this moment in time we're talking of a couple hundred people who read the boards and opinion is split over whether it's a good idea or not.
We need something that "everyone" will unite behind. Life is full of differing opinions and I'm sure Mutley meant peacefully when he posted
I'll take it up with them when I see them!!!!... Simply because someone whether on another board or not disagrees with an idea doesn't make that idea right or wrong.
Problem is that unless whatever is decided , and the board(s) are not the place to decide it really( as I've said small minority of fans post on it or read it then anything that falls flat on it's face will be counter productive. Now I've said I'm in agreement but
(1) Why does it have to be this week ?
(2) Why does it have to be an idea that comes from either board(s), maybe facebook/even someone who doesn't use social sites may have better idea
(3) Can we not organise some sort of meeting, I'm sure Nobby will be grateful of the custom one night
Now I'm sure I'll get "club man" thrown at me but If I don't agree with something I'm not going along with it simply because some on here think it's the way forward.
Yes a protest is a right but it has to be something that the vast majority of fans will go along with.
The ground has the banners on the Mill House side...

Maybe it's time that KH/IOR just looked at them and saw just what they're saying because they're all right for us Pools fans and we'll fight for our club, but we have to be UNITED , not just in name but as fans.

If I agree with whatever the "minority" of Pools fans agree with on here I'll go along with it if not I'll stay in my position in the town end watching the game. At the moment the latter is odds on favourite.

Seems the only thing to do in that respect is what's happened in the past, good old fashioned chants/stay behind after the game.
Mr Irrelevant wrote:Its crackers to have two sides of the same coin throwing insults. If you like ITB then use it. If you prefer the Bunker thats also fine. Use both if you want to, many people do. The thing is that people fail to see is that without the users then the boards cease to exist s by definition its the people who make the boards.
All of these people with a few exceptions are lifelong Pools customers so should be alongside each other in the trenches not sniping from the sidelines.

FFS Bob....it has already been decided and people do know about it....why try to complicate things????![]()

If people want to go to the pub and hold meetings and come up with plans then that's fine . I'm sure Fet Bob would want an elected committee and rules drawn up and a voting system devised, and by the time he was good to go we would be in Conference North.
This Saturday I will be walking out of the Millhouse Seats at 19:08 on the clock. Whether five people do it or 500 it's a fucking start. I miss 10 minutes of the game, I will live with it. If the space behind the Town End isn't big enough go and stand either side of it. It's not so much about where you go as the fact you are seen to be vacating your usual spot.
If people think doing this will have a negative effect on the players they are crazy in the coconuts. I'm sure the majority of them are as pissed off as the rest of us with what's happening.
I couldn't give a rats arse about message board rivalry. Let's just fucking do this starting Saturday.
