nicked from our board :uhoh:

Although we pipped them to the title, The "Pool" are determined to get as far up the 1st div league table as possible, ahead of us probably!!
There intentions are clear and A DECENT AMOUNT OF DOSH WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE.

They are really gunning for Duffy of hull, they are prepared to exceed the £150,000 they has been rumoured recently.
They are also, near to signing Danny Graham from Boro for a CASH sum.
Mind you they are selling a guy to Coventry for around £250,000 to fund the new signings

true or not?

No Dimi is out of contract so if he does go it will be for nowt.

We have funds from our Adam Boyd sale, 500k, we've only spent 1/5th of it.

Correction, we've not spent any of it.

We sold Daly for 80k, bought Barker for 80k. Sold Butler for 50k, bought Monkhouse for 50k so that's 500k left.

I'm not even going to broach the subject of how the club is funded for the twentieth time and the fact that we haven't in fact got ANY money in the bank, not even the much mentioned Boyd transfer money, which in any case is dwarfed by the income from the pie cabin in the Family Enclosure, forr easons which I am not at liberty to....it's Dibble.

If Wilson goes to the board and says who he wants, why he wants him, what he'll cost and what he'll do for the club and IOR bite, the player or his club will be approached.

We know, we know...

To my knowledge, DNO/IOR are very active in Oil Recovery in the Yemen and £5m to them is back of the settee money. IOR are a group company and their trading pattern could well be hidden within a holding company or subsdiary accounts. They don't have a debt in Hartlepool United, they liquidate the annual losses with share issues and square the books that way. The money has gone in but there's no way to recover it as Pools don't make a profit and therefore have SFA in the bank. I would imagine that Pools fixed and floating assets are the sum total of nowt. The cash that's gone into Pools will be squared by the tax relief on the losses in their UK assets, which magically include........HUFC.

But they did say they've invest our Boydy money into transfer funds did they not?

Our version of 'poor' is a tad different to your version of 'poor' ....when we need it it's there, whereas, when some clubs want it...it's not. We're a bit like the royal family, we don't carry money but it's there

Dey did do dat Daniel, yes.

However, they also have a very strict wages structure, so anyone who's going to cost six figure sums will also have expectations which might not fit into that structure and we know from the back pages that clubs do daft things in terms of wages to secure players who then let them down badly. Cough******Proctor******Which was what almost did for Bristol City when they ended up almost out of business and of course our new neighbours Leeds United.

I think this is at the root of the Duffy thing although I am prepared to be wrong.
