We've got no one from Peterborough.

I can not believe this has happened again!

Peterborough is the next Portsmouth. It shows a distinct lack of ambition from James, and Baldwin, and Burgess.

I don't get to many games these days for a variety of different reasons but this is getting embarrassing. The club are sleepwalking into non-league. Complete lack of ambition. I'm not against selling James but announcing it this late is beyond belief and shows a complete lack of any respect for the fans.

I genuinely hope it was a tactic so that we can sign players late for cheaper but I'm certain that won't be the case

He will score a hatful in a good team. That's why we should have charged top dollar and reinvested it in the fucking team.

No mention on any link of 2 youngsters coming.

This has been dragged on. Last time it was 10.58 and this year and hour earlier. Why the fuck let this happen. He had a 3 year contract. We didnt have to sell.

Goodbye football league

Just don't think he will. Tries hard, will run all day, will win headers he has no right to win but that's about it.

Poshs official site did say two were coming the other way and then it was quickly removed. Strange.

What a load of shite. He got more in a shite pools side, now he'll be playing for the best in the division.

People are now pretending he was shite. Small memories.

Facts are without luke James we would now be in the conference. He gave his all last year week in week out. Without him over the year we would have went down. His goals were vital for us and now we have wyke and harewood.

We have Wyke for a few weeks and one other striker on the books.

Cooper must be pulling his hair out.

This deal's been done all day, why haven't we spent?

the next few days and weeks will determine whether or not a lot of people are finished with Pools while IOR are in charge

To be fair to James he's probably seen the way the club has been headed the last 24 months and decided he wants out. He has probably seen the ins and outs over the summer like the rest of us and decided there's no point going down with a sinking ship.

At least he signed the new contract giving us a bit of bargaining power.

At the end of the day he isn't the one we should be pissed off with is he ?

More loanee's from Middlesbrough? Who's even left for us to take? Total joke, and it really pisses me off. Primarily because of that self absorbed c*nt Darragh. Absolutely hate that man. Should have told him to fuck off and sold James to Birmingham on pure principle. Surprised we didn't... Oh well, nevermind, I always did long for the '90s to return in some way. Guess it's on the horizon now.

Don't blame Luke James at all, wasn't the best attitude spitting his dummy out last week but it has worked hasn't it. Peterborough probably offered a canny wage increase and it's in a higher division. Already a few mates down there in Burgess and Baldwin. He could no doubt see the owners have zero interest in the club and the Pools are heading for away days to Welling.

WTF are you talking about we have sold two players in the past year for 5.5m and 6.5m just got nearly half a million sell on for Boyds move from Hull to Burnley

If these players are any good they will all get big money moves

Really you need to educate yourself on football

Burgess in his first two games has been class Baldwin was doing OK till he got injured hopefully he will be back soon

I find it a bit disrespectful slagging off former players who have done well for your club, us at Posh have had to get used to losing talent the likes of Boyd, Tomlin, C MS, Gayle and Assombalonga to name 5

I'm with RB here, james might have been quiet in the games he's played this season but he was our best player and he was all we had.

He got a good amount last year upfront on his own or with harewood, pretty much on his own even with him.

Ken's done it again, he's fucked us over again for the the second time with our best player, he's sold baldwin on the cheap last minute and james last minute.

It's an absolute piss take and it stinks.

We have 1 striker on the books, 1 bloody striker!

This is an awful club to support.

Ha, Darren Ferguson says he has "great attitude". We all thought that until he put in two transfer requests and decided not to bother coming in for training. A great attitude. Can't believe this has happened again...well I can!

I find it incredible. Actually, no I don't as it's the bunker but suddenly people are saying James isn't very good or has not played well in ages. Correct me if I'm wrong but people weren't willing to say it when he played for us. He hasn't suddenly become shit and got IOR off the hook for giving a big two fingers to the fans again. Fuck them.

We are an absolutely pitiful excuse for a football club and and I can't see any future for the club while IOR are still involved.

We are not just sleepwalking into non-league we have booked in eight months in advance for a long-term residency permit.

Hang your heads in shame all those at HUFC. You are an total and utter disgrace.

Didnt have a 3 year contract. I was told all he's signed was a 1 year with the option of 1 year. Ok it still 2 but goes to show how we all expect Pools players to sign a 2 year with year option contracts. And it doesn't always happen.

I find it a bit disrespectful slagging off former players who have done well for your club, us at Posh have had to get used to losing talent the likes of Boyd, Tomlin, C MS, Gayle and Assombalonga to name 5

You are a small town club, pretending to be a Championship Club. It's short term. Your Chairman is odious and your Manager a runt. Hope that's ok with you, if you don't like it, kindly return to your own clubs Messageboard and wallow in some more hype.

I think that's a tad harsh. No they're not a big club but I wish we were run like them. It doesn't rest easy with me that a club not much if at all bigger can cherrry pick our players but you can see why they are attracted to them. Most of their players get moved on to bigger things so it's definitely a step up from our tinpot outfit

We all know where the blame lies;

Magpie owners and a manager who has been found out on his own.

Shambolic confised

I find it incredible. Actually, no I don't as it's the bunker but suddenly people are saying James isn't very good or has not played well in ages. Correct me if I'm wrong but people weren't willing to say it when he played for us. He hasn't suddenly become shit and got IOR off the hook for giving a big two fingers to the fans again. Fuck them.

It's "The Bunker" you've spent most of the last decade on......

I don't think ANYONE is saying he was shit. I'm saying his last fifteen or so games, where he wasn't injured, haven't been great, and I stick by that.

I definitely hope we kept his wage from when he never turned up for work.

And if we find his dummy from where he spat it stick it a dog turd and send it back to him.

Apart from that good luck to him.
