I know it's only pre season and results don't matter but having watched the Whitby game we are going to struggle big time unless we get upto 4 new players in.tommy done well I thought and I think he's better than Walton but of the youngsters only josh nearney stood out for me. Carlisle and York will do well this season , but the club are not backing Colin and it's going to be a long season .

No mate losing to Whitby I'm not bothered about we have no strength in the squad I'd say out of 19 players yesterday in the squad 9 aren't good enough or aren't good enough yet . I hate to be like this but there's been no investment in the team for years but managers keep getting sacked with there hands tied. You can see York and Carlisle signing good players because they want to get out of this division have we ? No . Unless cc has got things in hand all well and good . If not then I daren't think what could happen this season .

Assuming IOR aren't taking the piss out of Cooper I would expect 3 new signings before the season starts either perm or on loan

Since around Xmas last year, in terms of senior pros we have lost

Howard, Baldwin, Sweeney, Walton, Poole and Monkhouse

In addition it seems Collins is mainly taking a coaching role

We have replaced them with
Harewood, Bates and Parnaby

I would hope there is some money available for additions as our squad is now weaker in numbers, I know a few of those mentioned barely featured but they all cost a wage we are now saving

'It doesn't look like the club will be selling either James or Walker which is a bonus for starters though.'

I guess CoCo and the rest of us should doff our caps and be eternally grateful to Mr Hodcroft for allowing the retain the services of these 'promising youngsters'. If it meant that significant cash would be invested in the first team squad (as if) I'd prefer to see certainly Walker - and maybe even James - offloaded soonest. We will probably get sweet FA at the end of the current season for either.

Was there ever a loid called "fucktard", because every post I've seen of his makes him/her sound like one.

I've noticed that over on Vital they've found that agreeing with him does the trick. Since his intention is to provoke exasperation, agreement makes him think for a bit. It takes him so long to think for a bit that they sometimes get rid of him for weeks. Cunning plan.
