One of my units is an Artisan bakery and they make this product, I have to say that accompanied by bacon and sausage, it is the best sandwich I have had the pleasure of chomping on clappp

They also do a cheese and pickle bread, runner up!

Better bait needed. Try threading some Stornoway black pudding on the hook and see who bites.

Had a run out to Northallerton & the bakers in the high street sold black pudding bread, so after reading this thread I thought I would buy a loaf & I must admit I was very disappointed with it. There was no taste to it & its just like any plain home baked bread.

Bread is good and black pudding is good. Why the fuck would you want to bake the black pudding in your bread? Fry the fucker and it is great with general breakfast stuff, roast pork, fried chicken or just slightly broken up in some tomatoes as a tapas dish. Stirring it into dough and then baking it is just plain daft. You should have your big wooden spoon confiscated Mr Butt.

Hey, whoa there neddy, I didn`t walk in there and say, " I have a vision, breakfast in a dough", they were already doing it and I am just pushing it out to retail outlets, don`t shoot the feckin messenger :naughty:

If you're pushing it out to retail outlets you're not the messenger, you're the dealer. Adding black pudding bread to Curtis Mayfield's list of bad stuff that is flooding the ghetto is very wrong.

If you are slow cooking a stew or casserole, add some broken up Black Pudding. It will break down and thicken the sauce.

Ps the difference between a stew and a casserole is, a stew is cooked on the top, whereas the casserole is cooked in the oven. Just a bit of useless trivia.
