Well since I moved to China where Frankie Vaughn is banned I just amble in with a cup of coffee about half ten, read the online papers, laugh like a drain at the UK weather and the traffic news and the 'Empty The Bin Once A Week' campaigns, while watching ours getting emptied three times a day out the window, and catch up on the deviants on here.

Boring close season like innit??

Kev, if things go pear shaped here, is there any chance of letting the spare room at your gaff?

An interesting and appropriate question for me as I've just been on holiday in Southern Irealand, staying at my father in laws place, with no computer. The first few days were a novelty not using the Internet & reling on news from the tv. However, I suffered withdrawal symptons & had to log on at the local library to get the really interesting news, mostly Pools related it has to be said. I'm back home now with the internet, my cd's / tapes / records / mp3's, synthesizers & guitars.

I don't know about on here but on UTS if you haven't logged on for awhile you hit "Posts since last visit" at your peril.

I'm off for a fortnight soon and when I get back I reckon there could be anything up to 300 active threads with an average of 30 posts on each. Once upon a time these sites used to be really quiet in the close season, what happened?
