Is this just a made up random rumour thread?

I heard Rolf Harris was set to be put in charge of the youth team & Max Clifford will be heading up the formation of Hartlepool United Ladies

Is it the same sauce who said Micky Rae was starting for us at the weekend after a 2 week jolly to Tenerife?

I'd heard that Willie Donachie was the preferred choice and that everything was pretty much agreed but Hodcroft wanted to wait until the end of the season to replace Hignett and things fell through.

He was a very good keeper just always injured, I'm not sure he did much wrong when he did play.

Good keeper at Boro....but when he came here he had the look of someone who'd rather be anywhere but here...the face said "it's come to this"....

He was dreadful pj. He never saved anything from what I remember and was unbelievably slow at reacting to anything. It had comedy value. He was also rooted to the goal line permanently. It must have been a different Steve Pears to the bloke who won awards for boro.

I also heard the one about Willie Donachie but that also Phil Babb was to replace Cooper. Apparently the chairman is partial to a Donachie/Babb bbolt

Sorry, couldn't resist.......

Agreed. Remember Wigan home in 96, weak deflected shot trickled past an already floored Pears. Fucking rolling round like a dog wanting its belly tickled. Shit.

Given that the Rangers tribute act are possible administration candidates, Walker moving there would be very unlikely.
