Heard Walton and monky were getting binned today from a good sauce too. There are far less useful players in our squad than monkhouse. :(

Depends on his wages though, sadly we're back to saving as much money as we can. Players like him are a luxury, and I'm sure James being on the bench was a "look, he's fit" to potential buyers.

Well Borer were at Yeovil, which is a bit of a drive. Do any Borer players eat at Stages? :-D

Just seen poole, duckworth and burgess in asda buying beers. Burgess seems to have good friendships at the club. Hope he comes back next season

Yes good to see Burgess on the lap of honour today, and taking the time to go and chat with the fans. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him back at Pools for the start of next season.

I bloody hope so.

It will be a very sad state of affairs if this happens. We have always had to look after the pennies but I never expected finances to force us to release better players and keep the ones that were clearly inferior in the eyes of the manager . I can understand youngsters being kept on as they may improve but sweeney?? He isn't even that much of a utility player.
There will be better players than sweeney who will command the same wage. Nonsensical.

If we signed Barmby and Burgess i will be delighted, however if Monkey and Walton are released we will be a worse side overall as a result. Holden and Poole would be my shouts. Holden is the worst passer of the ball on the team (although compton tried pretty hard to take that mantle today!)
