Someone should tell him he's in the dug out now!!!

I think he's been told he won't be Spurs manager next season which is hardly shocking news.

I think he's only ever been a cheap stop gap until the end of the season when Van Gaal has got the World Cup out of the way.

I don't think he's done himself many favours with regard to getting another managers job at that level, he's looked totally out of his depth and appears to have lost the dressing room already.

How bad are Sunderland by the way!!?

They looked like a relegated beaten team.

Any team that can only put 5 past Sunderland at the moment should sack their manager

Doesn't he have best win ratio of any recent spurs manager? With a team he didn't build not bad really.

I don't see why the knives are out. They are achieving par if you ask me, for them to break into the top four is nigh on impossible without many millions to spend. He might be a dick but he gets results.

without many millions to spend?

they lashed £100 mill on players in august, probably the most in the league.

I know it wasn't Sherwood but the chairman pushed the boat out last summer and foolishly expected better results, thinks he's playing footy manager I think.

AVB wasted that money, but Sherwood is getting the shit for it. His results are better, but he is still going to carry the can. A bit like John Hughes.

Liverpool and Everton seem to be doing a good job of it since 2009-10 season Liverpool net spend has been -£83m or £16m a year. Everton in this period have made £35m on transfers. During this time Spurs have a net spend of +£14.8m showing one of two things 1) Levy is a great business man or 2) he wants Champagne football on lemonade money. That is in contrast to the other teams net spend over same period, this is just on transfers by the way:

Man City = -£367m
Man Utd = -£105.2m
Chelsea = -£293m
Arsenal = +500K
Everton = +£35.5m

So basically Spurs and Arsenal of the team who have played Champions League football in this time have made money. Everton are excluded as they dont have the same financial clout as the other teams. And you wonder why Arsenal fans are unhappy they and spurs make massive profits and dont pump it back into the team.

They actually made £3.8m on transfer last year

Daniel Levy has stated the Oldham game was the final straw for Sherwood they weren't just going to sack him at the end of season irregardless and were looking for an excuse or anything.

Is it really that pedantic pointing out that someone who you have said has been sacked, hasn't been sacked.
