Av only looked at it once but if you bet on draw/away in the double chance and then city in play you cannot lose

Basically your staking £50 before and during so your in for £100 and.......

If city win you get 143.75
Draw you get £70 plus your £50 in play so £120
Barca the same £120

So you make either £20 or 43.75 and can't lose

If I back City to win pre-match.

They go 2 up and then Barca equalise in the last 3 minutes I'll lose my initial bet and my inplay bet.

So will be £50 down.

He didn't say back city pre match.

But the rules say you can only place a pre match single.

I did read but my brain doesn't think double chance is a single bet. Happy to be wrong as I don't do much gambling.

It dosnt even mention single it just says place a bet before and then in play on anything you want

Like I said happy to be wrong but what I read makes me think you have to place a win/draw bet.

I'm surprised they are still doing this cos more and more people have twigged that it is basically free cash. They must lose a fortune when they do this. Obviously can afford to but still must be a hit to them

If city win ya don't but if they draw or lose you do meaning you have £50 on draw/barca at 2/5 returning £70 then cos the Inplay city bet is a loser you are refunded the £50 meaning you are up.

Best outcome is city win and if it remains 15/8 you get 43 for free

i load the bet in and soon as they kick off am on. Just incase of a freak early goal.

So to dumb it down, if I follow these bets at the end of the game I'll be able to physically withdraw either £70 or £90 from my account.

If you are planning on doing this I would back Barca pre match and then City and the draw (double chance in running). If you want to maximise the profit, bet the single pre match as close to kick off as possible. Then the odds will be less volatile, if you bet now and lay off in running you run the risk of the market moving against you and not making as much as you could.

The early market has already moved for Barca although could it come back if Fernandinho plays.

Generally as these markets get priced up by English bookmakers before being corrected my shrewder money in Asia. Therefore the english teams are under priced and the market will correct itself closer to kick off.

£55 rings a bell and yeah was 0-0. Price shortened the second they kicked off. Thankfully or maybe stupidly I backed it before kick off as the game goes into the inplay market before kick off. No idea if it would have counted but thankfully the draw came in

City and the draw is currently 1/2 and is not as good as the 15/8 the other way. The best way to maximise profit is the way I wrote it. If you did it your way you would actually lose £25 if city won or they drew so its not a good idea at all to be honest

It seems pretty unbelievable to me that a company like bet365 would give away hundreds of thousands of pounds

If they won't be paying out then they would have cancelled the offer. It's money back if u lose, they can't just say 'tough were not doing it'

It's no different to sites offering a horse that's 1/3 at 5/1. They know they are losing money but they gain new customers and existing customers suddenly have funded accounts and are likely to just lose it anyway.

Not that unbelievable, I heard Paddy Power talking a few months ago and betting companies know the nature of gamblers and whatever they pay out they tend to get back in the long run or in most cases not so long!

Turns out I can't do it after all.... Haven't used my Bet365 account since 2010 because I closed it, takes 24 hours to reopen it!
