Jeffers still hasnt shown us anything and again was barely in the game. Hartlepool looked shattered after 60mins and apart from the odd offensive play were on the back foot for the majority of the game. We need to take our chances and shoot, every player seems to be afraid of doing so apart from Sandell. Finally Harewood, how he was still on the pitch after 20mins is beyond me. He was on a yellow and got into a brawl with Sandell which Harewood had started. Strange decisions from the ref who had lost control of the game within the first 30mins. Promotion is gone, stay in the top 10 and avoid relegation is far more realistic, we're just not good enough"

Firstly the Harewood incident!? 'Brawl' Two Newport players confronted him trying to get him sent off, he just stepped back he didn't react at all. He hadn't committed a foul in the first place, it was a throw in. I know Kettle is borderline corrupt but that would have been taking the piss even by his standards, it was laughable he only spoke to Marlon and neither Newport player.

'Shattered after 60 minutes' We came into our own in the last half an hour with Newport pushing on we used our pace on the counter attack and had we made a couple of better choices in the final could have scored a couple more.

They had the ball for '60 or 80 minutes' is this fucker on glue? They shaded the first half definitely but they hardly set up to keep possession they play percentage football, close people down get in your face and stop you playing, They did that successfully, man marking Williams and stopping us passing it from the back. For all they did well first half did they ever open us up and create a clear cut chance? Apart the Burgess last ditch tackle after a mistake from Collins. They were all about work rate, we had the touches of quality that win you games. 'Fancy balls' it's called having proper footballers mate.

'kicked out' is similar hyperbole as the idiot who described the aftermath as a brawl. His momentum took him into the player, the two Newport players saw who it was and tried to get him sent off as he'd just been booked. One of them pushed him in the chest without so much of word from the 'ref'.

Did anyone else notice that Newport seem to pay someone to man-mark the 4th official? There was a guy in a Newport tracksuit that stood right next to the 4th official all game, constantly in his ear, moaning about things. All the rest of their staff were in the dug-out area, except him, he didn't move all game.

Perhaps we should do something similar, pick the most proficient moaner from the Mill-House and get them to turn their expertise on the 4th official, see if that gets any 50-50 decisions going our way.
