I think we're starting to look good again after a period were we didn't play badly much but didn't quite pick up the results. From the crucial first goal against York we've gone to play very well at Wimbledon then to fall victim to daylight robbery, play very well last week and then yesterday. The next few games do look winnable and some might think talk of the play offs is pushing it a bit but why not? We're just as capable as putting a run together as any other team in this division and from what I've seen play much better football than most teams. Let's give it a go a team often comes on a late run to win the play offs and teams have come from more lowly positions than 11th in the past. Next week is a must win though we have to build on this momentum we have wrestled back.

Even if what is the most likely thing to happen does, and we fall short we have plenty to build on going into next season.

some of our losses this season have been downright miscarriages of justice. Good football always deserves to win out, and once the players do develop the killer instinct we will already be 2 up before the oppo can react, and games like Rochdale home and away this season are typical of domination by Pools and not taking the chances on offer, whereas the oppo took theirs immediately - those are games WE could have had the 6 points in the bag. They were ruthless and we weren't

The margins are very fine, but Cooper is clearly a good teacher and I've been impressed by his approach all season. We take it for granted now that the players won't play it long unless it's a genuine breakaway. The ball is retained into feet, next man drops into space, others do likewise, always looking for the pass and always looking to receive the pass..into feet.

I enjoy watching it, constructive football definitely will prevail and next season I think we will have a real go at promotion.

This is because I trust Cooper to bring in good footballers, and no matter what the squad is, or who is in it, Cooper has the right philosophy to succeed

It's all been good to read about this playing the good stuff, and maybe we need to worry about keeping Cooper than some of the players although worrying about both counts eh?

I mean, has Cooper brought a less than better player to what we had in yet? Nobody seems to think so. Good times.

Well we haven't conceded in the last two games so that is encouraging. Sometimes the re-introduction of an old head can settle those around him I suppose. It's probably an over-used term but we are a team under construction. Having to rely on short-term loan players doesn't help with continuity so it might take time. Hopefully we'all be able to push on next season.
