Vote today and get as many Labour 'Councillors' out as possible!!!! :evil:

A few points to remember before you vote....

1. Victoria Ground sale!!!! :evil:

2. Council Tax rising and rising!!!! :evil:

3. The Hospital....lies, lies and damn lies!!!! :evil:

4. Fortnightly Bin collections!!!! :evil:

5. That smug little useless get Ian Wright!!!! :evil:

You all know the score!!!! :grin:

I've put my holidays in at work for today and tomorrow so I can stay up all night to watch the results coming in as usual....with a few cans of course!!!! :grin:

I'll be keeping you all updated during the night!!!! :sweeeet:

Out of the 3 current Councillors....all Labour!!!!....representing MY Ward not one of them lives in the Ward!!!! rage

2 live in Seaton and one lives in West park!!!! :roll:

I'm sorry but surely they should live in the ward they represent!!!! :evil:

I had 6 people to choose from when I voted this morning 3 tories and 3 lib dems! and I had to pick 3!!
oh and by the way we've had fortnightly bin collections for 2 years now,really doesn't seem to be an issue here

But think of it this way....

You do the work for them so you get less of a service but your Council Tax still goes up every year!!!! :evil:

Surely if you aren't getting the same service the tax what you pay the service for should go down!!!! confised

At work if I got half of my resposobilites took off me I'd expect a pay cut....isn't that right Mr.Snowy eh?!?! confised

but the work IS the same isn't it?
they pick up recycling stuff one week and everything else the next. so they still come as often as they used ,and they weren't splitting the recycling stuff anyway. so same old same old.

I believe that all local councillors should have no party affiliations and be representing the ward in which they live. I am sick to death of party zombies making up the numbers,.... a faceless, anonymous pack of political nodding dogs who's loyalty is to their party.
They always put the people first ... providing the peoples wants coincide with theirs. :roll:

Anyone see a couple of councillors in the Mail a while back, where they were photographed presenting a 'Freeview' box to a load of of pensioners in a home, which they paid for out of their own pocket. The old folk were all lined up for the photo looking suitably grateful ? BUT ... why didn't they just present it to the home without inviting the Mail around to record the event for prosterity ...? :roll:

as you all know i dont vote anything but labour
just could not do it but i made an exception on two ocaissions when the the gay feller put up against the chunky
so why is my area of the town riddled with independent councillors
who also because they fancied a parish council i have the priveledge of paying more council tax than any other part of the town that does not have a parish council
i dont vote for parish councillors and i dont vote indpendent yet i pay more than dibble because i have a sea view rage
