My parents used to live in Fleetwood prior to my birth, used to go there as a kid, they had a pie shop called micklebacks and they had the best pies ever in the universe of pies, I lay the blame solely on them for my girth to date sadx

Its a lovely day. Just about to go to lunch at an excellent Indian buffet. Find myself in a ridiculously good mood. Accordingly just bet on 0-5 and 1-5 this afternoon @ 1000/1 and 850/1.

Last time I bet at odds like those was on a boring car journey back from Crawley on the last day of the season. Bet on Newcastle 0 Liverpool 6. At half time it was 0-3 and at services offered to sell Madjohn half the bet. Wise owl that he is he declined. It finished 0-6. £1898 from £2.

I've avoided such long odds since then but for no apparent reason have a good feeling about today.

It will of course now be a dull 1-0 defeat.

50/1 and 40/1 first goals on corals. Baldwin usually 28s and burgess 40s so both increased today.

3-0 loss

Taking luke James off was the biggest pisstake I have ever witnessed as a pools fan. Disgusting and cooper wants fucking for it. Harewoods debut could have waited another week. He's gona be fucked after an hour so what is the fucking point. Not happy at all. Disgraceful

So of the 11 players on the pitch you would have made the same change. Really?? Harewood will not last this game and is he really better playing up front by himself for 90 mins jam like James who had done it all season.

I know you like to back the club and be nice but ffs that was a shocking change

So you think harewood would be better to lead the line for 90 mins than James when he is no way as fit as him??

I agree daft

Mmm a very experienced player up front on his own or a young lightweight Luke James yes I can see why this makes no sense to some pools supporters.

I would have taken off one of the strikers, yes. Which one would depend on what I had seen in training this week. I've seen nothing so I can't make that call, but it would have been one of the strikers.

Please ffs just be honest. It was James or harewood. That was the choice. 1 is proven fit for 90 and will cause trouble and the other isn't

On the face of it, Luke James is more match fit and has a bit of nip about him to keep them on their toes so the decision at first hand looks a bit strange but let's see at the end of the game if it was right or not. As others have said, we haven't seen the training and I'm sure CC had this in mind. Selections and tactical changes are usually influenced by what goes on the training ground.

James has been poor for weeks. Easy decision.

Where is Baldwin playing as commentary keep saying he is taking throw ins?

RB I see your point, but Harewood is physically stronger than James and probably to be honest has more chance of holding the ball up. Probably priority now is to get out with a point. He's got Franks on the bench who can replace Harewood if he tires.

I also see your point so well talk sensibly. 1 up front to me says more running does it not to you? Do you think he's fit enough to play 90. We have 2 subs left and Rodney on the bench. Surely to god luke James is he better option??
