Played really well after a dodgy first 20 minutes. Should have won it 2nd half, had some good chances but Cov defended well.

As stated they began well, looked confident on the ball and probably deserved their lead. After that it was all Pools - their keeper made two great reflex saves in the first half and our goal was a cracker. We were the better team for 70 minutes - we need to start off at a higher tempo like we used to under Turner....

I thought we had the better of that game for around 60-70 minutes.

1 big mistake from Austin punished.

Duckworth was outstanding and simply ran the show from left back, how is that even possible!! He just kept running at them and taking people on. Arguably the best right back we've ever had, iv been going for nearly 30 years n I can't remember a better one

Well, if today, doesn't teach people to keep believing in themselves, then I don't know what was.

I was seriously thinking that there was no way we would get back into the game, because Coventry were that dominant in the first half.

I thought we were poor in the first half.

Coventry will be furious with themselves, that they didn't see it out.

But all credit to 'Pools in the second half. They were the more aggressive team in the second half and it payed off.

Well done 'Pools and Mr Cooper!!!!
