Having calmed down from yesterday's game, reading posts on here and watching goals on tv I have come to the following conclusion.

I think our problem at the minute is defending and midfield.
Walton and Dolan simply cannot and should not be playing in same team they are both the same type of player, apart from Walton is slow and shouldn't be playing in our first team at all.

We miss Walker in mid field and need another attacking mid fielder, someone that can retain the ball and get forward when needed.

The defence need to get back to keeping clean sheets, I don't think that bringing Collins back is the answer but an option. Maybe Matty Bates could be the answer and move Baldwin back to midfield. This is a physical league and we need to defend and do this well and the way to get results is defend and get the scrappy 1-0 wins.
If we can defend properly and that includes flinders - who I think has dipped in form, they we have half a chance.

We still need another striker too but the potential is there once defence is sorted.

Must Sussed that in 20 mins of there 1st game. Why cooper can't does not fill me with hope

The defence is not the problem. The creative side of our attack is a huge problem and has been been for some time

I agree but whilst we are conceding nearly every game -we're up against it to try and score more. League two is a tough league and we need to defend to give us the opportunity to win games.
If you look at nearly all the goals we've conceded have been from defensive errors.

But what does cooper do if there is no money?
I have been slated for this before but it seems the ONLY flexibility in the budget is Rodney, everyone else is contracted until the end of the season, he's not on much I am sure but given all he does is sit on the bench why not spend that money elsewhere ?
