I've been invited onto the fans panel as the Message Board representative and have accepted (puts to bed the chatter about it being handpicked 'club men' only I suspect!). There's a meeting at the club before the game on Saturday morning where the plans will be outlined and I suspect we'll be given the scope of what the club needs from this as well as us putting across what the fans would need.

I'll feed back on here and Into the Blue at some point on Sunday what the requirements are. If someone would copy this onto Vital also that would be marvellous.

Cheers,
Darren

Good luck,

can you request if they are going to keep refilling 5 year old Heinz tomato sauce bottles that they at least wipe the gunge off the nozzle at some point?

I fully expect this to be a top priority.

Remember to wear some sort of trouserage.

But seriously, the first gadgie who calls you a 'club man,' wants a kick in the cods.

Good luck, hopefully we get some answers to the medium and long term plan for the club.

In particular

The ground purchase and how it impacts investment ON and OFF the pitch
What constitutes success this season?
What flexibility the manager has to bring his own players in and release who he wants next year.

Obviously I doubt we will get answers in the first meeting but any information is better than nothing

So your thankful for someone who had been chairman during the most financially stable period of Pools history. 17 years without any administrators just imagine that!? A couple of promotions, 8 years in League One and at one stage just minutes from the championship. Things aren't as good now but we're still in a better position than Darlo have just about ever been in terms of stability.

Who do we thank?

George 1 who was a hilarious ex con, who was as thick as mince. Promised you the Premiership and built the folly that would see you have a genuine chance of one day achieving Premier League football. It is called the Evostick Premier League isn't it?

George 2 who lurched you towards administration again and introduced the man who put the seal on things which leads us to;

The Raj, who took you out of the league back into administration and finally after years of trying liquidation?

Just who do we thank sctatchinghead

I thank them ALL, for a decade of laughs. Each one a gem, each one worshipped by the gullible Loids. There will be Darlo Fans in their Twenties, who can't remember what it's like to win in a Local Derby...unless it was against West Allotment Celtic or Shildon.

I pissed myself reading the echo today it said that Darlington's winner on Saturday sparked a 'pitch invasion' by some travelling fans.

They were playing at Clitheroe in front of 500 people. Clitheroe ladies and gentleman.

Top priority is to demand the club to reinstate bottle tops!

you have to bring your own bottle top when you bring in a bottle of vodka and coke, otherwise some numpty might kick it over and it will all spill.

They might give up with the bottle top thing as none of the staff seem able to open them at the moment although this may be to do with them shortening the size of the lids.

Personally id be more worried about someone throwing a hot bovril at me than a bottle of fanta.

The bottle top rule is the daftest rule ever. I may just turn up at the next few home games wearing an outfit made entirely of bottle tops in protest.

You could stand next to the kiosk and sell them for 5p.

Mr Yloop, please can I request you find out the reason real pies aren't on the menu any more?

I'm pretty sure that since that Pukka shite was introduced, our performances on the field have suffered.

Its not just the players either, look at the disgruntlement in the crowd. Mr Birthmark used to be a happy chap, until Pukka was introduced and now look at him. The frustration seethes out of every orifice.

Bring back real pies and it will improve EVERYTHING!

They had real pies in the town end on Saturday, meat and potato. Ridiculously salty though.

Best of luck Mr Yloop, you're a good choice.

If you can find out one thing, then I'd love to know whether the 10-odd million IOR have hoyed at us over the years is a loan or not. ie will we be totally shafted if they walk away.
