Up to 58th and guarantees his card for next year. Job done.

Amazing what one decent tournament can do for you. More than doubled his winnings in one event.

Shame he failed to qualify for the open though. The stupid ancient qualification process did for him.

Question:

If Graeme Storm won the Open, what would it do for Golf in Hartlepool?

Do you like your non-sequiturs fried or poached?

I'm guessing an open winner is as far removed from Hartlepool golfers, or even club pros, as Murray is from kids playing tennis at Grayfields.
It would therefore do wonders for Hartlepool golf.

Of course.

But why do I find myself getting angry with idiots on here and in the media, peddling daft ideas about how sporting success for one is great for us all?

The worst of this is when the national media claim that an english team winning the champions league is good for english football.

Will you all just welcome to the board if you think this way.

Otherwise I may get angry.
