Why is anyone surprised about him training with the club who are paying his wages?

It would be really nice if he didn't turn up and we could sack him but until he moves to a club with resources that are up to
his standards he'll be seen around. If he wasn't taking part in pre season what chance would we have of moving him on?

The likelihood of that is just north of zero, we need him off the wage bill so his wage can be used to being in two or three players in key areas.

I wouldn't look into what number he is wearing too much. They usually officially announce team numbers I believe.

Regardless of him being fit, he is useless on his head. He actually had quite a few chances to score with headers last season and fluffed them

I thought you said when Humprheys left that you would be getting your ST again or have you changed your mind now that a player with one year left on his contract is doing pre-season training with the rest of the squad??

Although as usual you seem to have a great deal of difficulty comprehending something written in plain English.

I understood what you had wrote I was just clarifying whether you had changed your mind or were using Howard as an excuse not to buy a ST like a lot of people use excuses for not going. If you dont want to go then fine dont go, just dont make excuses for not going!

If Howard is part of the managers plans for next season then I wont be going. That isn't an excuse, thats just me not wanting to watch an elderly bag of cement.

You get one life, and mine is running out. There are things I would rather do with what's left of it than watch fairly unpleasant and ungrateful human beings, doing something badly, for sickening sums of money, and not really giving a fuck about the end product.

Howard probably earned well in excess of £100,000 last year. He barely trained after the bad weather set in, largely made minimal effort when on the pitch, his performances and body language were piss poor, and then he to all intent and purposes fucked off when the going got tough, and said he was too good to be playing for us.

He also dissed any fans questioning his afforts and talents.

There does come a point where you feel your intelligence is being insulted.

Its not about the 7 quid a game or whatever it is to get in, thats not the issue, its the fact some of the money is going towards funding the lifestyle of tossers like him.

Spot on.

But I will go further. I am not prepared to watch a team playing a football style, only supported by Stoke City these days.

Its a relic from the 80's and if Howard gets anywhere near the team they can as successful as they like, I would rather watch West play Rugby Union as I will probably see more football played.

The guy should be nowhere in sight after his comment on twitter of "I run at Sheff Wed"

Fat, arrogant, useless piece of shit.

Some people use the phrase "clean slate" and all that jazz but lard arse shouldn't be anywhere near the club..

"It's been a grind at Hartlepool, to be honest. The lack of resources and everything else was hard to take," he added.

"It's one of those situations where I've gone back and I've maybe gone back a bit soon.

"It hasn't happened for them this season and this was an opportunity that I couldn't turn down.

"I said to Dave Jones I was going to enjoy myself and play with a smile on my face, which is something I haven't done in a while."

I renewed my season ticket yesterday.
Never really gave Howard much thought, there's nowt we can do about it if no one comes in for him.
I'm more looking forward to seeing how the likes of Holden, Richards, Baldwin, James, Franks and Poole are going to get on in div2.
