I was really into my running a coulple of years back did a few 10k races and then great birth, never been particularly quick only around 10 min mile mark at best. Going to get back into it in the next few weeks and try to get back in some sort of shape.

18 mins for 2.5 miles is decent going like in my opinion.

It is decent time, naturally it would take longer than the further you run.

I can do a mile in 7 minutes if i just did a single mile, but obviously running 4.5 it takes a bit longer overall.

I used to do about 1 hour 38m for a half marathon. This usually landed me about 1/3 way down the field, e.g., 2500th out of 7500. Take away about 2500 dressed up as bunnies and as chefs with frying pans and that makes the time a bog standard average.
