I think we've sort covered the reason for this. Computer games have actually been around for about 35-40 years now they aren't that new. What kids don't do now is as has been said is play out. The parents are to blame but you can't blame them either, I wouldn't let any of my kids go missing for 12 hours like we used to. The World is a far less innocent place. Also kids aren't allowed to knock about like we used to. If they get caught playing footy against a wall or riding around in groups on bikes they'd get threatened with ASBO's.

They'd probably have to be called something different these days though, like non-white projectiles, or ethnic minority mints. Just to keep the PC Brigade and human rights lawyers happy.
