Saw him on the 10.30pm no13 bus last night in Darlington. HAdn't seen him since 1986 and he still remembered me from being a postman.
Said where are you off to,going to either Tiverton or Daventry. Was going with his from brankin road. He must be the biggest groundhopper in the country.

we used to say where you going this weekend,he would be off to Ireland to watch some obscure team in the lower leagues. He must of seen matches all round Europe.

See and speak to John regularly and he certainly gets about, he was in Ireland the other week and then over Huddersfield way, he is trying to get to seaton to watch them, I used to see him featured in the echo in mike amos's backtrack column a lot but don't buy it anymore.

He still lives on owton manor lane opp manor school,not sure of the number,summit like 160 ish.
