Talking of iconic photos, what about Tommy Millers dive accross the floor in front of Town End?

Most iconic Pools photo.

Daly at Cardiff?

The Poolies at Darlo in front of the 0-3 scoreboard?

Yeah cos Strodders goal did you a lot of good in the long run. Without Strodders o.g you would never have gotten to Wembley that season, beaten Peterborough to win promotion, signed Asprilla and reached the Premier League in 5 years......oh, wait. Enjoy Hebburn.

Although I didn't appreciate it at the time, that was an exquisite moment ....that was as good as it got for Darlo, after that it was a steady decline as the wheels and every thing else fell off. Now, they're so far down the leagues they're bottom feeders.

I somehow ended up chatting to Joe after the play-off final. It might well have been Spender or Salty who put me up to it.
I duly doffed my cap and apologised for never having seen him play.

What I do remember him saying, and he was quite clear about it, is that he was first and foremost a Newcastle supporter and always had been.
He nonetheless had some fond memories of playing for Pools.

When Joe used to do the radio commentaries on Pools games (not sure if he still does? Live in Hull now) it was brilliant, always high bias towards Pools, shouting dead loud when we scored, getting very excited if we were playing well. Might have been something to do wit 1990 being my first proper season as a Pools fan but the bloke's a legend in my eyes.

Still one of the pictures id most like to see is Darren Knowles attempting to square upto Leo Fortune West. Did it ever appear as a photograph or is it just in my head?
