Casstette Tapes!!!!

No fecker buys them these days....and I understand why!!!! confised

But today down the beach with the dog I took my Walkman....(I haven't got a MP3 Player yet....waiting till the decent ones come down in price and I don't want Video....I want Music)!!!! :grin:

Anyway I took a tape down with me which I taped of a couple of LP's in the 80's....

On the A side....'Infected' - The The!!!!

And on the B side....'The Psychedelic Furs' - The Psychedelic Furs

I probably haven't listened to this Tape for about 10 years....but what a classic!!!! :sweeeet:

Mut, you can get a 2mb mp3 player for £30. The sound quality is in the headphones not in the player itself. No difference to a normal radiogram really.

That's two weeks non-stop music and 18 gig!! MP4's are at 4 gig at the moment. I think you need an iPod Muts!! There's 30gig iPods going for 150 quid at the moment brand new.

I'm more pissed off that the only format you can get Cow and Chicken in, is VHS :shock:

I'll have to buy another VHS player or else kick the bairn out of her room so I can watch it in peace!!!

I never know whether you're taking the pi$$ or not Mr I, but to say that it's just the headphones that differentiates the sound from an MP3 player is bollox! I copied the same files onto my MP3 player [iRiver H340] and my wife's iPod. On every single track the difference in clarity of the sound was staggering. The iRiver absolutely kicked the ass of the iPod. Again, same headphones, flat EQ settings, full battery, exact same file.

Don't be taken in my the Apple iPod hype. They're well marketed and the design ain't bad, but sound quality is what counts, right? :wink:

Anyway, I flipping hate MP3's I do. Very convenient but the sound quality is pretty piss poor even with "better" codecs at higher bit-rates. The dumbing down of audio these days.....

I'll get my coat...

I stand corrected. I thought it was the case but you sound like you might know a bit more about it than me.

Mutt I got stuck in a traffic jam on the A1 last night coming back from Newcastle Airport!!! At 10 o'clock at night!!! WTF?? The twats had one lane closed and the jam ran from Team Valley to past the Metro Centre rage

Anyway it was a waste of time partaking of drink by the time I got back. We'll sort summit out!!!!

Aye Mr Crimes I'll have anything you've got, I've got Cartoon Network and a recordable DVD but I never remember to buy any blank discs!!!!!
