"The Barbers" on Elwick Road is your best bet.

Canny lasses, reasonably priced and free to park.

Do you mean York Road, that's where I go for my occasional haircuts, going back to when it was Ian's.

No, I mean Elwick Road!

They're in the shop that used to be Vicky Piss (and various other off doors like Blayneys, Wintershladen etc. over the years).

Is that the two twins you are on about that look like Bett Lynch with their make up painted on with a trowel and a bit mutton dressed as lamb?

NO!

The lasses in Elwick Road are dead canny. The place in Murray Street that they used to work was the old pharmacist shop opposite where the Post Office was. I think the pair you are on about have a shop at the other end of Murray Street (which might, surprisingly, be called "Twins").

If I remember rightly the Gemini Twins were on some kind of chat show years ago about very close twins. Although one of them was married, they both still shared the same house. The husband was on the show as well, and he seemed quite 'pleased' with the arrangement.

Apologies for dredging up an old post but I remembered that someone had mentioned Chaps Barbers at Fens shops, and wondered if anyone could help. I always go there to Kate to get my flowing locks cut. Went on Saturday and turns out she's left there and reading between the lines I think she's set up her own Barbers. Just wondered if anyone knew if this was right, and if so where she was. I know from talking to her that her Dad and brother are ST holders, so hoping someone here knows her or that her Dad or brother read this.

Funnily enough I was talking to Kate over the weekend, she's set up shop in The Arches on Park Road called The little barber shop., just opened today I believe.

I went there a few years ago and he acted like a bit of a knob for my liking (maybe I caught him at the wrong time of the month).

My choice would be Towers - canny lasses and never have to wait about very long.

He has been dead over 5 years I believe.
