i wouldn't believe everything you read on wikipedia, he happens to be the youngest ever player to play for Southend at the age of 15, When he came on as a sub in a FA Cup game.He is still only 19.

I think it's good to look at youngsters who have been discarded by big clubs cos yo never know and it doesn't cost much BUT we are virtually hours away from the transfer deadline and there is no sign of any activity involving the strengthening of the first team.
I am worried me, really worried...........................and disappointed.

No harm in giving someone a trial. And yes we should have brought someone in by now. Surely we have people lined up.

We are a little northern outpost club with minimal financial backing . We are now in league 1. Just think where we were under Viv Busby etc.
