My mothers has started to leak and i will be getting somebody in to fix it out of tomorrows mail unless somebody can do the job off here.

Might just be blocked at the drain valve that's usually underneath the drum. Some still have a filter you can empty from the front too. If it's coming out of the drawer or door that's worth a look. If it's a Hotpoint, tip it up against the wall so you can get access and prop it up, then unscrew the jubilee clip on the drain, you'll probably find some coins (20p usually) blocking it.

Oh, turn off the water and unplug the washer from the electric!

Aye, you need to call Mickey Bleachands.

He'll extract the pants that are causing the problem but you won't get them back.

Cheap though. :wink:
