So thats two totally uninspiring away performances, which could be described in more colourful language but minors read this board.

Do me a favour and can each and everyone of you keep your mouths shut this week and concentrate on playing football. I don't want the quotes from you saying how upset you all are I don't want the we start now crap, I don't want the we're going to Orient to put on a performance. we'll get it right for the fans. Do you understand that I just don't want to hear or read any of it.

I want you to do your training between now and the game and come Saturday I want you to go out on the pitch and actually perform, I want you to pass a ball more than 10 yards to another Pools player, I want you to actually cut out schoolboy errors. all I want is for you to actually give those who travel down to Orient some sort of value for money.

You all will be picking up a decent monthly wage,if I had my way most of you who went out on that pitch last night would be losing some of it in fines, for being incompetent on a football pitch and thats what you were. But was it a one off no because you were incompetent at Crewe as well.

So come Friday evening when you settle down in your hotel (paid for) with evening meal maybe someone can just mention that some people will be leaving Hartlepool at an early hour to travel down to actually watch you, they'll be spending good money on fuel and to get in to the game to support the 11 players who are put on the pitch. Do you think that you could give those fans something back in exchange for that. Not just a round of applause at the end of the game but a bit of...
COMMITTMENT..PASSION...DESIRE..WILL TO WIN... and a performance that they can be proud of...is that to much to ask from you all.

So as I said keep the mouth(s) shut and concentrate on the game by getting things right. You can all say how your going to put it right, but we fans want to ACTUALLY SEE IT PUT RIGHT ON THE PITCH THATS THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT.
