Got headbutted this morning while refereeing a game on grays looked like his nose was broke.
Watch 4 games this morning and it amazes me why these guys become ref's.

It was the pitch behind ours, I didn't see the incident but did notice nobody was playing there anymore after about 25 minutes

So i heard, only played 1st half then had to go do that run.. Was tough as we only had 13 lads, 3 suspended and few injured

I've known Ronnie a few years and whilst he isn't the Bunker's best contributor he is a sound lad, mad keen Pools fan and wouldn't harm a fly.

It would appear the police are involved so the lad will be getting locked up, whether the courts come down on him any harder or not because of the circumstances is anyones guess.

I hope it doesn't put Ronnie off reffing as Sunday morning football is struggling enough as it is. I certainly wouldn't blame him though.

I can imagine the lad who is responsible will be the type to go down town and start scraps. I also predict this is partly due to have a small penis.

I got sent off for calling the ref an arsehole today. Said in the heat of the moment but I still thought it was a bit harsh

We might hate the bastads ((c)adg), but you have to protect them, especially at local league level, the game wouldn't be able to continue. It is certainly something I would never have considered doing.

I really hope the lad that has done this gets to do some 'time' to think over what he has done rage what chance a £150 fine and told not to do it again

But what gives him the right to be patronising towards me when I asked him to count 10 yards for the wall? Anyway he had a poor game and I think it was a combination of frustration regarding decisions and a bad hangover!

PP, i'd have probably said exactly the same as you when I was playing but as a number of people aleadly said, the game would die without having refs in the middle and whether they be good, average, poor or down right awful we still need to show them some respect. Dare I mention rugby bbolt

BTW, would the 10 yard rule for decent that rugby have, work in football sctatchinghead

or dissent even.......

It was tried for a while, a few years ago, and dropped pretty quickly, I think it would be good to reintroduce.

Ronnys a decent guy, not everyone's cup of tea but sound in the flesh, had a good 30 minute chat with him last week at greys, he's banters canny.

The game was called off after 8 minutes because of the incident and police are involved, I heard the lad has previous so might go down for it.

In other news I scored today from a fully intentional cross in.

Every cloud

We have had our run ins with Ronnie in the past as yubep knows but to go as far as physically assualt him is out of order. The player who did this deserves everything he gets

Hardly the best preparation for a game is it, early to bed on a saturday night next time and plenty of water, look after yourself and you won`t be sent off ;)

Unless he's got a long line of previous I'd be very surprised if he went down for it. Sadly.

Two things:

1. Which utter wanker signed this cretin in the first place?

2. Why havent his "team mates" kicked the fook out of him?

And why does it appear those on this thread appeared to be frightened to name him?

Ok that was three things.

Still, it just shows some of the scum playing these days, and the scummy clubs that allow it to happen.
