Avatar problem

I'm trying to use a picture for my avatar but keep getting a mesage saying that it's too many pixels. How do I trim it for acceptance?

Try this , you'll need to see what the max pixel;s is on here though, then it fairly easy.

Or load the image up in paint, then click resize and then by pixels... 151 x 151
