Just back from Spockport, and that game completely drained me.

Ref and linos got decisions wrong for both sides. Great game for a neutral mind. The only thing missing was a sending off.

Stockport are the only team I've seen (since the run started) who really stretched us at the back.

Barker man of the match for me, closely followed by Monkhouse, Eifion, and Liddle. Not a great day for our defence, although the ref and linesmen were to blame.

I don't think Pools have ever got a result from being 3-0 down in my lifetime. Maybe Mad John Knows the last time?

Weren't we 3-0 up at half time against Wigan as well, they brought it back to 3-3 only for Mckinnon to score about 2 minutes from the end to give us a 4-3 victory.

Wigan in the FA cup early 80's. Pools 2 - 0 down at half time. Game over? No chance, not with Big Bob Newton in the team. Came back to draw 2 - 2 and then won the replay at the Vic 1 - 0. clappp
Next round lost to Hull I think rage

4-0 down at half time, fought back to lose 6-0!!

left at 2-0 down after trying to leave at 1-0 down

walked to the end of the ground - they scored

spent the rest of the game in the pub behind the home end getting blaked for free - lost a couple of us to the police! - cheered and sang the team coach off stunned players off - spent the best part of the night on the piss in cambridge waiting for our mispers. eeeh lad - happy days.

Barker was absolutely superb.

He led the line brilliantly throughout and was very unlucky not to claim a hat trick, the defender got the slightest of touches to deflect his effort onto the bar late on.

Easily his best game in a Pools shirt to date.
