Good luck young man, heard Brown was back tonight too, all of a sudden we have some options!

Reading the stuff if he did reject us it could have been when he was on the bench and in the managers immediate plans, new boss =less opportunities so he has to spread his wings.

I don't care either way as long as he comes and bangs a few in.

Thought it was, I reckon he could do a decent job for us. Banging them in for fun for Sunderland reserves. I'd start him tonight, nothing to lose.

Hadn't he been on loan at Derby when O'Neill came in and when he came back from loan O'Neill wanted to have a look at him in training and see where he was in the hierarchy? Now he's loaned him out to Pools presumably with an assurance that he'll play in competitive matches. Seems a win-win to me.

Yeah seems ideal for everybody involved... We are short in attacking options, Sunderland are giving him some competive games as mentioned.. and plus the lad doesn't exactly have to move or travel far and he will get play some decent level football apart from reserves

Like you say Joe, get him straight in the lineup tonight. Noble with Brown and Poole flanking him.

O'Neil obviously didn't want him here too long as he'd have possibly been infected by the Towns lack of ambition quickly became spindly legged and returned to Sunderland weak in the mind.

Seriously very pleased by this signing exactly what is required. I'm sure it will improve Mr Coopers mood as well!

Physio looked at him more than O'Neill. He returned to Sunderland due to injury.

Martin O'Neill is Sunderland's manager now?

I must keep in touch more.

The headlines on the official site to the side of the article about Noble are:

'We're not clinical enough admits Cooper'
and
'Cooper lands Premier League striker'.

No nonsense, I love this man.

Was much better than OK. Far and away the best player on the pitch, just need service.

He had 2 very good chances, the one in the first half where he was one on one with the keeper which he should have buried, the second one just in front of the town end, more difficult than the first chance but should have hit the target.
A good debut though apart from that.

Only Lionel messi seems to score every 1 on 1!!

Seems a bit harsh as it was his own hard work that created both chances. I thought the keeper was off his line very quickly for the 1st chance and made it difficult to score and the 2nd chance seemed very unlucky indeed from a very tight angle. I would imagine at this level he would be up there with mr Rhodes if in the right team. Very impressive debut in a below average team performance

I agree just stating that he did have a couple of good chances.
It's nice to see he got into the positions in the first place!!
