WHY WHY WHY WHY....is it always an Auction for items like this???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

The person with the most money is ALWAYS going to get the item....to go with all the rest they have bid and won over the years!!!! sadx sadx

I reckon it'll go for something like £250 - £300....which the majority of pools fans just cannot afford to pull out!!!! confised sadx

Hold a Raffle at the next 2 home games/Mill House Pub/various Pubs/Clubs in Town etc....£1 a Ticket....they'd make well over £1000....easily....and everyone has the same chance of winning....and HUFC's Youth wins the most!!!! :coool: :coool:

I honestly can't understand why it always has to be an Auction....unfair and less money raised....MADNESS!!!! confised sadx

100% in agreement with this. Auctions are shit and for show offs. So it's a big raspberry at charity auctions from me to bid for things which clearly a lot of people would like to win, but only the same old minority will do

so why don't the club change policy on these things and stop the smarmy smirking waffle merchants from hoarding all this stuff? Come on Pools, this is a shit policy and makes people actually RESENT what you are doing!!!!
Make it a raffle!!!!

The shirt will probably go for about 300 quid. You'd get at least double that if you sold tickets in the Mill, Corner Flag, Clup shop and youth team selling them on the turnstiles and it'd mean everyone would have a chance.

It's not even that much extra work.

Get Fetish Bob to sort it, would keep him out the bookies for a few hours.

Jimmy G in Murray Street, the shop moves about a bit but always on Murray Street- I think that it's over the road of the Beer Barrel nowadays towards the Grange Road end. Can't remember the name of it because I'm getting old and don't get enough sleep.

No worries. Plus I've remembered the name of the place now, La Mirage.

Plus he's a Pools fan.
