Excellent news, look forward to seeing him play. Could be a useful option from the bench tomorrow if he's not starting. If he has the pace he's rumoured to have he could give defences issues late on.

Saw him a few times for the youth sides - quick, skillful and unpredictable. Played wide in a front 3 usually.

Had big problems with his hamstring, missing most of last season because of it but is fit now and could be a good signing.

The best thing about Cooper teams is that we seem to have options because he seems to get players to play close to their potential. Can't wait till tomorrow....

If Poole and James on bench i can't see him making the squad. Boydy is above nish in pecking order. Injury free I can't see him kicking another ball for us

I'm a bit apprehensive about this. While I have no doubt that Adjei is a top player for this level, it does have the potential to be like the O'Donovan deal.

Because he's approaching the end of his contract, if he puts in a string of high quality performances and scores a hatful of goals, what's stopping teams higher up the league than us coming in and signing him in July, à la Coventry with O'Donovan.

Nothing really to stop it happening. I suppose it's either a short term deal and if he works out we need to be quick and decisive with an offer, but if we signed him up for a longer deal now he might turn out to be another Larkin and we don't need that. It's for a month initially so if he does well we would be in pole position to still negotiate an early release from his Newcastle deal so we can sign him up before the season ends.

Looking forward to seeing him play, hopefully today off the bench to score a last minute winner clappp

Id rather he came here, put in a string of good performances that helped us massivley and got a move to someone else than us not bring him in, him not do well for us, then move on to someone else anyway.

There isn't any logic to his post, it's daft to be worried about a loanee doing well then leaving us. The next step from that is praying our own young players are shite in public so nobody ever wants them.
