But isn't that more about the midfield than the forwards? If I was being pedantic I might also point out that having the odd forward on the pitch might help.

He wasn't apart from about 10 minutes in the first half when we changed to 4-4-2 he was in the left which makes even less sense. Humphreys would have been a better option than Monkhouse up top and Monkey would be better on the left.

The positive spots were a bright half from James Brown and Luke James who looks a hell of a talent. Both should start on Monday.

Yes, the young kid caused them more problems in the time he was on the pitch, than any of the 'recognised' forwards.
The problem first half was nobody seemed to know where they were supposed to be playing,
Monkhouse was drifting to the left, humps , Baldwin and Liddle seemed to be trying lend support, from midfield,
getting in each others way as they were doing it , and Sweeney was on the right .
Baldwin looked capable, but was trying to do a bit too much and running into trouble.
Flinders looks totally devoid of confidence and the back four were cut to ribbons, by a slick frontline who did know what they were doing.
