I hate that band never mind the drummer. Has there ever been a duller band?

I like Coldplay but my word Chris Martin is one boring and miserable runt!

Its weird, but there's been some amazing bands that have come out of art colleges. I'm listening to a late seventies band called Wire at the moment who are incredible. As for Coldplay. 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' is a great album, but after that, despite trying to milk Eno, they've made really safe, middle of the road rubbish. They're a really safe, boring band i agree. They desperately wanted to be U2. I think that's what finished them.

Maybe not duller...but radiohead, kings of leon and john butler are all pretty much as dull as coldplay.

Talking of dull and music...I was out in the car this morning driving around town and I couldn't find one decent radio station...what radio station here caters for the rock crowd?? I couldn't even find a classic rock station!!!!

Radio1 plays the odd rock song, but only really the commercial ones you mentioned above.

So your telling me that an area as large as teesside canne support even one solitary classic rock radio station?? That's pretty sad.

Jesus! There's barely a local station these days!
Certainly, no specialist shows, gobstopper apart.

Like you say, a sad state of affairs.
