Emigrating to this country!!!

Why/does/would anyone emigrate to this country now????? the country is totally fooked......... nhs, cost of living..... imigrants...oh ye imigrants, they would emigrate to this once great country.......

We live here we can't emigrate to this country. If we emigrate we leave here to live somewhere else.

Definition of emigrate............

To leave one's place of residence or country to live elsewhere

So your post doesn't make sense. Anyone who emigrates believes they going to a better country for him/her/their family

People come here because we live in the fairest, most tolerant, most moderate country in the world. The NHS is staffed by incredibly hard working, dedicated and undervalued men and women who 99 times out of 100 provide people with excellent medical care, which is (unlike anywhere else) free at the point of contact.
Cost of living is lower than 2/3rds of western europe (try buying a pint in Sweden)....and as for blaming "imigrants" for the countrys problems every foriegner over here, that I know of works there arse off, whereas every workshy, inadeqaute, whinging, benefit scamming individual is anglo saxon and white.

People slagging off the NHS is my pet hate. My Dad, my Mam, my brother, my uncle, my wife have all had extensive treatment from the national health system and have unfailingly, without exception been treated with the utmost care and professionalism.

The only thing I'd have back from the 70's (not that I remember t hem too well) is the fact that we actually had a manufacturing base (granted it wasn't up to much ) but it would be nice to have people actually making something again..

People are coming here because they believe Britain is a great country.

We became in a sense a victim of our own success.

They believe that where they live offers fairly little opportunity and they know Britain is a land of opportunity.

It goes to show you how stable Britain is as a country when people around the world were shocked by the riots.

How has this happened? This is never meant to happen in Britain.

That's true, but they dont know about the problems that there are in this country, such as how hard it is to find a job.

but they were on strike half the time so they didn't make much anyways!!!

Watched the program about welfare the other night,a bloke with 3 kids moved from Chile,got a Spanish passport and then moved here.He lives in Islington in a house costing £2300 pm.Strange he didnt stay in Spain????
