Downloaded fine and runs like a dream for me, I do have a pretty decent computer though. God that sounds smug, which was not my intention. Sorry.

No mate, steam is fairly quick once you get the initial download and set up done. What I have noticed is the game play is a lot slower even with the matches at top speed. I reckon thats to do with my laptop-Pentium Dual Core 1.60 ghz with integrated graphics card- I'm buying higher spec anyway so see if that makes any odds?

Steam issues -might be speed your internet is runing at? How you doing with the game anyway?

a genuine question. What does a decent computer have to be like these days? In laymans terms if you can.

i've had no problems n i've got a basic second hand fujitsu laptop.

If i play the game with a large database and with 3d match engine it goes a bit slow, so i just stick it on medium and watch the games in 2d.

How far are you with steam? Took me two goes and a failed set up. I persisted with it and it loaded eventually.

Can you get a more modern version to speed things up, which runs on diesel or electricity rather than using steam?

Bare minimum,

Dual core processor, 2 gig RAM for windows 7.

Hard drives are usually 500gig minimum for computers these days.
