I thought it was an excellent atmosphere last night despite a relatively low crowd. I can't wait for Saturday when we should have 5k+ and i just hope the bigger crowd gets behind the lads even more and intimidate the opposition and officials in the way other crowds do around the country.
On another note I was in the Mill House pub before the game and they certainly seem to be gearing up for bigger crowds, they've rearranged tables and chairs inside and there's loads of room now, I always thought it got a bit cramped in the hour or so before kick-off but it should be great this season, even in the lounge there's acres of space. They've also got more staff and even a 'can bar' outside alongside a van selling hot pies etc (I had pie n peas n gravy, lovely), hopefully if Pools have got it sorted inside the ground as well everyone should enjoy their days out at the match even more.
Anyway I can't wait for Saturday, pub, pints, pies, Pools, more pints, points and a great atmosphere, heaven.

Couldn't agree more. cant wait till saturday either. last night was on of them games that makes you nervous and excited when it gets into extra time and penners.

They had a lot more staff on the food outlets inside last night also, 3 on every counter, quick service and a smile
