They said before the game that 200 Cyril Knowles tickets were left and just under 1,000 were going on the Town End gate, the capacity is just shy of 8,000. The Town End was too full people were standing in the isles.

It doesn't really add up to me.

Massive obvious gap in the millhouse plus the sunderland end also had space.... about right to me....

Not really I was just surprised when I heard the crowd, thought it was well over 6,000. MisterB the Town End was ridiculously full I don't normally stand in it but did last night as we couldn't get our seats in the Cyril Knowles people were standing in the aisles all the way along. We were in the last block right near the Millhouse and that was even packed.

Given the Rink End now has more seats and it was full, the Town End was full, the Cyril Knowles apart from about 100 seats was full 5,700 surprised me that's all. Alright the segregation was there and the Sunderland part of the Millhouse wasn't full but could we really have got another 2,100 people in the Vic last night!?

Even for sell outs there is always loads of space in the millhouse terrace....

Looker this video for from the Sunderland MB, it's as dull as fook but it does show a very full Town End;

Well I'm not having that, I started this thread and first rule of message boards is that you never admit you are wrong even when you clearly are.
