....thought we looked better when the youngens came on, more pace with Poole and Luscumbe, and I reckon good futures ahead for the likes of Hassan, Holden, Johnson and Baldwin. Even the young No.28....Barron I think he was called looked useful. :laugh:

Enjoyed the game, and a great show of support for RH. And kudos to the Sunderland fans who gave Ritchie a great reception.
Seen some encouraging signs tonight, especially from the younger players towards the end of the game. Great to see Mickey Barron in the blue and white aswell!!

It was a good game. we done well considering we were up against a prem team. I wish Poole could have started up front with Ritchie, he's awesome.

Well done lads lots of positives tonight and well done to Sunderland and their fans hope you have a great season too. Loved it when the whole stadium rang out with 'There's only one Ritchie Humphreys'. Great night!

What was with the whole clear section in the Millhouse? Shame this had no spectators at all in it? Anybody know why?

OR; I have worked out that it's actually a black hole... a sort of vortex that missing fans have been sucked into over the last three years. Loads have been paying in the Millhouse for League games walking to their seat or terrace spot then: bbooooommmpth it's 2011. The majority of our 5,800 season ticket holders have claimed not to have missed a game for years, and this area had been deemed unsafe for entry this season.

Maybe segregation but surely not in a friendly? Plento of mackems sat in the CK? Was it maybe's they expected more away fans to pay on the gate? Looked a bit crap looking round the ground seeing a whole section empty.
First half was cracking, we'll do well this year if we play like that! Great night and good natured.
