Does anyone know if he is due a ban? According to the BBC Pools site he has 6 bookings, and his booking on Tuesday was his fifth in the league.

We could do with Willie back if he is out.

Did anyone notice how Macclesfields number 7 man marked Liddle on Tuesday? I wouldn't have been suprised if he followed him for a piss at half time!! He still got the better of him second half though, but Ince had done his homework as he wasn't allowed to feed Brown and Monkhouse as easily as he has in other games. I am quite impressed with how much Ince has improved that team in a short space of time, and his reaction at full time congartulating every Pools player was spot on as well.

I'm sure there is some rule where if you don't get booked for x amount of games you're bookings get wiped out and you have a clean slate. He hasn't been booked since the Wycombe game and his booking before that was September so he might be ok.

Although that could be complete bullshit.

Always liked Ince as a player, he was one England player who actually wore his heart on his sleeve. They were awful when we played them in August (as were we) but put up a great fight on Tuesday and it's probably all down to him.

Fully agree about Ince, dont think he'll be at Macclesfield very long.

His game against Italy when he finished with a head bandage, and blood all over his shirt, is my memory of him as an England player. That was an example of how a 0-0 game can still be a thriller.

I think he's still a player at heart and that's probably why he reacted as he did, I bet he was itching to get on there and get stuck in. Maybe he remembers the sheer effort of doing an honest 90 mins.

Even though West Ham fans despise him for his Man Utd antics, I find it hard to believe that they view Martin Allen with deep respect and Paul Ince with contempt.
