To all the Walsall supporters who visit our board (and all the others). I'm sure all Poolies will send their condolences to the friends and family of Danny White a youth player, 17 years old who has died form cancer.
It's very sad, especially someone so young.

Many, many thanks for that, must admit I was unaware despite a thread posted on UTS, which didn't read.

Thanks.

I've posted your thoughts on the appropriate thread on UTS.

Thanks again for the sentiment, something all saddlers fans will appreciate.

Thanks for the messages.

It's been a bad season for Walsall fans. Our ex player (and play-off winner) Matt Gadsby died earlier this season in the middle of a game (can't for the life of me remember the team at this precise moment). He was only 27!

Sutton Coldfield

The 27 year-old collapsed midway through the first half of the Conference North game with Harrogate Town at Wetherby Road

It was Hinckley United Dave. That was so sad. But this latest news, if possible is worse. The lad was most probably excited about the life opening before him. After all which one off us would not have loved to be a 17 year old about to embark on a life as a professional footballer.

Too true mate. It's when I saw Matty's wife and young daughter that it struck home (being a parent myself and the like).

Nearly a year ago we had one of the regular posters on UTS just die in his sleep. He was 23  These are no ages for young lads to be dying are they ? Makes you bloody wonder when you're an unfit 36 year old :!:
