More interestingly............Its amazing that we are only 4 points short of what we had that season, after what went on up until november.

Amazing.

we ended up with 85 so high 80s/90 should see us go up methinks - 6 wins and 3 draws out of last 14 by that 'guide' will be adequate......

I was expecting comparisons with 2002/3 and I'll admit I've thought about it often myself.
The rot set in in with our visit to Lincoln.
But as I've maintained before, we've had worse runs while chasing promotion than the 12-match spell that ensued (re: Cooper's last 12 games).
People lose sight that we only lost four of those games. We'd been flying so high that four seemed a lot, compounded by R&D and later Wrexham winning so many.
But we still had 11 points to spare for gaining promotion, so all things being equal going on that kind of run again would still get us out of this division.

But I think we'll win more than four of our remaining games. I mean if we've won 15 out the last 17 we must have *some* qualities (the latest of which seems to be luck). Our great run prior to the Lincoln reversal, the one that took us 14 points clear, was mostly against low placed teams. This current run has been against much higher placed opposition.
