Saw some belting games of what they call 'junior' footie when I lived up there.
It's widely acknowledged that many of the clubs are better-run than a lot of Division 1,2 and 3 set-ups.

If thats the level of support they get its amazing,some of the teams in the 2,3rd division struggle to get crowds in excess of 400-500.I had a postman colleague use to travel up there to take in some of the matches.

must mean john the postie from owton manor lane he travels the bloody length and breadth of the british isles to watch football
