Ian Holloway...

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Half a season in the premiership is enough to turn anyone into a knobhead, did you hear his interview on ITV after Blackpool's 2-0 defeat at Southampton today?

Apparently Saints fans were singing quite rightly 'Premiership you're having a laugh' Holloway thought they were being "jealous" and "disrespectful" and basically went on to say he couldn't give a fook about he FA Cup.

A total arsehole consumed by his own ego.

I must admit that I agree with you there. I do have a LOT of time for Holloway but that interview really did him no favours and he come out of it looking like the other premiershit managers.

what would you prefer a neutral media friendly boring reply like you get from most people in football or a character who is dinamite and great to listen too who occassionally oversteps the mark (as he did with this by the way)
I'd much prefer to listen to him than Wenger, Ferguson (when he can be arsed) Anchelloti, Manchini, Grant, Pardew, Houlier etc etc
If it wasnae fur yer wellies, where would you be.

I'd agree with that..he has some good personality but it seemed a bit like sour grapes but guess its just frustration for losing?

Slightly off topic but......I thought Wadsworth interview was excellent after the game. I can understand why he gets more out of this squad than Turner.

Holloway is get more cockey the more headlines he gets. He's starting to sound like GR in his headline grabing statements
