I never understand why people steal things like medals or valuable pieces of art. Surely when they pawn them in or whatever they do with them, the people who are most interested in them would be curious as to how they where obtained.

If you where a dealer in this type of thing and some bloke came to you with a premier league winners medal wouldn't you be a bit suspicious if he wasn't an ex footballer and you knew the items that where being presented to you where the same as some reported stolen?
