Looking at the Accuweather (cheers Ripper  ) report, the temperature should be above freezing all week so theres a good chance the match will be on.

The haven't played a competitive match in over a month, they are bound to be a bit rusty!

Will they be leaving the snow on the pitch till the last minute to help stop it freezing? If so will anyone bother turning upto help shift it if they are as thankless as they where when Bob helped?

I think the only thing keeping today's game off is the fact that Orient have got a fair old hike to make and it would have been too much of a gamble to make them travel this far. If you look at all the fixtures in league 1 that have been called off there is some canny travelling involved in all of them.

Here's hoping the Oldham game can go ahead.

Can I point out that the club replied to my email and an offer of a free ticket for the reaaranged game was offered and taken up, their explanation was fully accepted by me for the day in question(the Saturday) drinks were available on the Friday and tickets offered, the misunderstanding (not only on my part but others) was we should have turned up a the ticket office( on the Saturday) prior to starting to clear the pitch , leave our names so tickets could be made available for those who helped.

The club have been extremely professional in their correspondence to me and as far as I am concerned if they were to ask for volunteersagain to clear the pitch if I was available I would happily go down again. especially on saturday as I want a home game played.

I will be willing to go and give them a hand to shift some snow and will if they appeal for help. I hope they have a spare spade though because I don't own one.

As Oldham haven't played for a while it should be an excellent chance to get a positive result. If people have time and Pools need help lets do our bit to get the match on.
